2014!
Tuesday, 31 December 2013

I know this post is just so cliched, but I just can't help doing it :P I have no idea how many times I have done posts like this before (countless, I believe), but well here I go!

What is the new year without resolutions, right? Of course every single year I would list down a few things that I would wish to accomplish in the new year - and I end up forgetting about them.

/sheepish grin

But hey, this year I'm going to change my method! :)

I saw this on Twitter (a retweet from Hannah, actually) and felt that it was a pretty cool idea and I would like to give it a shot. Basically, you print a calendar of the new year but with a resolution on them. You choose what you hope to do every single day in the new year and you get to put a cross on the dates which you do. In the end when the number of crosses are significant, you are unlikely to break the chain and thus will continue to do it (whatever it is)!

Sounds feasible.

I'm going to do it.

Here is the link if you guys are interested: http://karenkavett.com/blog/2037/dont-break-the-chain-calendar-2014.php

(The page takes a while to load, by the way)

However I feel that the calendar lacks some personal touch (lol) and it doesn't exactly have the days printed on top so I'm just going to draw one up on my own. Hopefully it works for me! :)

Don't live the next year without a goal.

Happy New Year readers! :)
