So most of you probably already guessed what I wanted to write before you even read my title, because all of you are smart kids! Give yourself a pat on your back and congratulate yourself.
This week is unofficially labelled as the 'Common Tests Week' by all students of CCHMS. To be honest, why is it called common tests? Is it that common? Why can't they just call it Terrible Tests -alliteration!- instead? It reflects it aptly in my opinion.
I spent all of my free time after school camping at Bedok Library trying to study and getting myself geared up and familiar with the topics tested a few days before it started. Sad to say, it didn't work out well because I failed to feel the stress. It seems like only when I feel stressed, then I am able to work hard. Weird, I know. But that's just me. Maybe that's why I always do so badly for tests. So apparently my 'study before the tests rolls in' method didn't really work, or maybe it did- but just a bit.
I have been staying at the library until 8 whenever I can this week trying really hard to study and understand the subjects and remember all the keywords and explanations. Thank goodness for a study buddy, if not I might have failed so badly. If you're reading this, thank you so much (: I swear, you're like my motivation somehow. Seeing you working so hard tapping your pen on your chin makes me want to work hard and achieve my goal. Thank you for answering my ridiculous questions and thinking of ways to explain the concepts to me (like biology yesterday)! And for working out math problems with me and labeling me as a careless girl for probably all your life. But I believe that without you I wouldn't be able to get the results that I have gotten. So really, I owe you :D And the bet doesn't count, by the way.
So yeah hahahaha this post is probably dedicated to my study buddy. And I guess having common tests aren't so bad after all. You get to bond and work hard with people.

Situated in the sunny island of Singapore, Jolene recently (is 2 years considered recent?) graduated from university and is now working in a job she never expected herself to hold. Besides having frequent quarter-life crises, she also indulges in video games, anime, and aesthetic korean girls documenting their life in vlogs.
Although not as eloquent with words, she still aims to try her best to bring across her thoughts to the Internet.
