Ever since the O Levels were over and I became F-R-E-E (as in, I have time. I am still priceless you know), I started becoming more aware of myself. it's like, woah. Suddenly I notice more about my clothes, my hair, and my nails - you get what I mean don't you.
Is this me becoming a girl, or is this just me maturing, or are these two overlapping ideas?
It feels weird that all of a sudden I start searching on incognito mode "how to keep long and healthy hair" and spend like ages watching videos on Youtube about some beauty products (lol), somebody's mall haul, or hair tuts.
But hey they are quite cool and informative- I never knew that washing hair everyday was a bad thing! Yes Gwyneth you are so lucky hahaha.

Moving on to my job! I think most of you know (or rather, all) that I am currently working in NTUC Fairprice and if you ask me to sum up the entire job in one word, it would be 'meh'. Honestly the people there are just average and I feel that my colleagues at MOS Burger are held closer to my heart even though it has already been more than a year since I left.
My job scope is basically almost everything in my department except for the sweeping of area (that's the cleaners' job). I load the stock up onto the shiny trolleys, push them out to the fridges and leave them out to die.
... Of course not. I have to restock the items. And if the spot is too full, reload them back onto the trolley with the cardboard piled up oh-so-high on the bottom rack and push it back to the store.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
Every. Single. Day.
Oh my God.
Then occasionally I will hear the melodious voice of a superior or a cashier over the speaker saying, "Paging for Frozen Staff please come to __________". Once I hear that I immediately put down whatever I was doing and rush to wherever the place is.
Hip hip hooray.
And working there is also kind of a bad thing for me (?) because one of their uniform requirements is to wear BLACK SHOES. I only own ONE PAIR. So I have been wearing the exact same pair every day. /cringe

Situated in the sunny island of Singapore, Jolene recently (is 2 years considered recent?) graduated from university and is now working in a job she never expected herself to hold. Besides having frequent quarter-life crises, she also indulges in video games, anime, and aesthetic korean girls documenting their life in vlogs.
Although not as eloquent with words, she still aims to try her best to bring across her thoughts to the Internet.
