HEY ALL! I'm back from my hiatus of 3 months (almost) - hence you can spot the 3 up there ^ and now I have 6 whopping months to celebrate - thus, the 6 is up there too. I have missed blogging a lot, and I'm not sure if any of you can understand that very inane need to just type down whatever you are thinking of to share with the world. Kind of, anyway.
Blogging has taught me a lot since I started in Primary 4, and I plan to continue blogging - for the sheer fun and need of it, and well... You. The reader. If there is anyone reading at all. Blogging has made me think a lot, both critically and stupidly (haha), and I'm just really thankful because we need those skills to score for GP. Lol.
In all seriousness though, blogging has enabled me to find my true self over time. I manage to see myself evolve from this spoilt, pompous brat in Primary 4 - okay, not really. I was just extremely naive and didn't know ANYTHING about the world then - to this young, refined and sophisticated young lady today. Stop laughing. I may be wrong about the last part today, but just you wait.Typing down my thoughts has become part of my routine, though, since then and I'm really glad that I have! So (obviously), I will be continuing this little hobby of mine :D

Time for what I've done post-As! A Levels ended on the 27th of November and guess what I did after the paper? I hopped over to Dhoby Ghaut and had the free flow drinks and ice cream with a set meal at Just Acia. So much for slimming down, right? Sad to say, I have put on quite a bit of weight and it is now my challenge to lost as much of it as possible in TEN DAYS. Impossible? Maybe. But I'm Kim Possible. *snickers* Then I may have used the computer to do idle things until 12. No life? Yes. Free? Hell yes.
The next day I got An to come over and we watched a few episodes of Baccano (it is a really cool Anime, go and watch it!!!) before we decided to start on a new MMORPG together. After a few moments of research, we found Dragomon Hunting. Sounds like Pokemon and Digimon, lol. But oh my word that game is so friggin' awesome HAHA it's kind of like MapleStory (yes, still playing that sh*t) but with better graphics and more dynamics to the game. It's 3D so it's difficulty level is probably twice of Maple, but it isn't that difficult to get the hang of the controls so I'd say it's great for beginners! What I like most about the game is the CUSTOMISATION OF THE HAIR. If you played MapleStory, you know what the hell I'm talking about. In Maple, the selection of hair for both the girls and guys are just so limited, and if you want those really pretty hairstyles you have to buy the ticket which costs @Cash (aka real moolah) and what's more, it's RANDOM. ... What in the world????? But mannnnn, the one in Dragomon is so amazing. For the girls, they have around 16 different hairstyles to choose from and they are all so pretty that I was spoilt for choice! Suck on that, Maple. Step up your game. The fighting was quite epic too, as you have to dodge the attack range (shown in red) and you can do so with your conventional arrow keys or just press R to roll out of harm's way. In turn, you look like an epic ninja who knows what you're doing. Awesome? Yes. Oh, I forgot to tell you guys about the most important thing, lol. The classes! As this game is extremely new (it just rolled out a couple of months ago), there are only 4 classes, mainly the Mercenary, Scout, Mage or Cleric. Mercenary's the usual Warrior which has great stats all round, Scout's the dual-blader / rifle holder, Mage's your... well, mage and Cleric's your healer. The sub classes are pretty standard, just that a Mage can also become a healer which is essentially a Cleric... That's weird. But I chose to be the fighting Mage so yep. An chose the Scout which requires close combat HAHA he's gonna die faster than me.
Then for today (aka the 2nd day of liberation) An and I went to IKEA! I miss the food there so much and the meatballs quenched my cravings. (actually, is that even a proper phrase? LOL OUT OF TOUCH) An initially wanted to buy something for his sister to congratulate her for passing her AEIS in the future... But eventually bought a huge-ass shark for himself to cuddle to sleep. We skipped the ice cream because we were both too full :( We then proceeded to Giant because we wanted to buy some swimwear and accessories for our date to Wild Wild Wet! Grabbed those, along with some soya milk and apples and we were on our way home. Overall it was a pretty short date, but we were both tired out since we needed to hug that shark all the way home as IKEA doesn'r provide plastic bags :( Oh well.
I hope that this pretty long post makes up for that extremely long hiatus! I will be updating this blog frequently so stay tunedddddd! Gonna go play my Dragomon Hunting now BAI

Situated in the sunny island of Singapore, Jolene recently (is 2 years considered recent?) graduated from university and is now working in a job she never expected herself to hold. Besides having frequent quarter-life crises, she also indulges in video games, anime, and aesthetic korean girls documenting their life in vlogs.
Although not as eloquent with words, she still aims to try her best to bring across her thoughts to the Internet.
