I forgot that I didn't wish all of my wonderful readers (if there are any at all) a very merry christmas! Today's New Year's too, so happy 2016 to all of you! :)
With that, we start a new year again - and hopefully on the right foot. I know I sure did, since I left the company I was working at (see: post of unhappiness below) and ended it on a good note too. This means that I finally do not need to endure the hellish hours of work purposely assigned to me, and I no longer need to engage in mindless and meaningless conversations with the people I call co-workers. Can someone pass me a LUJAH to pair with my HALLE?
2016 is going to be a good year. It has to be. 2016 may be one of the most important years of my life: I'm getting my A level results, and starting Uni too - which, well, potentially decides my future. So yes. 2016 has to be a good year. And I guess it's time for me to stop making goals that I know are unachievable (there is the red line underlining unachievable, is it not a word???) for me (like stop procrastinating) and instead just work on making myself a better person as a whole.
2015 was not very kind to me but I still scraped through with the support of many people and I am honestly extremely thankful that they appeared in my life and decided to stick by me. An, Terence and Lovarts: All of you are amazing human beings and I love all of you to bits. Thank you so much for being my constant when everything and everyone else is changing with the tides. To Terence and Lovarts, I'm so glad that you guys are still with me despite not being in the same school, and of course the way the both of you contacted me after O Level results were released. Your actions really made me feel loved and appreciated as a friend, and I can honestly say I would never trade anything at all for the both of you. To An, thank you for accepting me and loving me in spite of who I am and what I am. You are a blessing and I'm so so so grateful that I came across you in SR and you made my stay more bearable.
To all my readers, thank you for sticking by me as I grow through the years, from a childish adolescent to a less childish adult now.

Situated in the sunny island of Singapore, Jolene recently (is 2 years considered recent?) graduated from university and is now working in a job she never expected herself to hold. Besides having frequent quarter-life crises, she also indulges in video games, anime, and aesthetic korean girls documenting their life in vlogs.
Although not as eloquent with words, she still aims to try her best to bring across her thoughts to the Internet.
