After an especially long hiatus, I am back! (again)
The last blogpost was 6 February, which is a really really long time, considering that within the time frame from then till now, I have already (gasp) received my A Level results. To cut the long story short, my scores did hit my expectations but it hit the borderline of my expectations lol. But of course, at least it did manage to hit that bar I set for myself - so all's good.
Life has been such a bore so far, apart from my 5 day cruise to Port Klang and Langkawi, I have been stuck at my office desk from Monday to Friday for many weeks. Talk about a happening life after As, right? Still, I'm not complaining because the pay is really good (heh). The cruise, however, did not live up to my high expectations :( I boarded the Royal Caribbean, Mariner of the Seas and had some amazing food but with a compromised shower experience. To be honest, I totally expected them to provide soap like conditioner, shampoo and body wash just like hotels and even like toiletries such as a toothbrush but the only thing that was perched on the walls of the shower was a dingy and grimy "2 in 1 shampoo" which until now I have no idea what it means. 2 in 1, as in shampoo and conditioner, or shampoo and body wash? I had to use it for the whole of the 5 days as a shampoo, and resorted to using the bar soap provided (thank god) for body wash.
... Okay, too much info? But the food was superb. There was fine dining every night for dinner, and a sumptuous buffet breakfast and lunch. Not to mention a 24-hour cafe of sorts which has cakes, breads , pizzas as well as drinks for free (well, technically not really since I kind of paid for it in the fare altogether but still). And of course a soft-serve yoghurt machine right beside the pool. Mhmm. My stomach has since expanded to almost twice its size.
Enough of the cruise. Let's talk about my goals in life! (jokes) I just wanted to share that I'm planning on taking up a Japanese course for real, like actually enrolling in classes and learning the language. I'm not sure how it will turn out just yet, as it may potentially interfere with my Uni life in the future. But I'm really interested in learning the language though, so maybe I'd go ahead with it. Hmm, who knows.

Situated in the sunny island of Singapore, Jolene recently (is 2 years considered recent?) graduated from university and is now working in a job she never expected herself to hold. Besides having frequent quarter-life crises, she also indulges in video games, anime, and aesthetic korean girls documenting their life in vlogs.
Although not as eloquent with words, she still aims to try her best to bring across her thoughts to the Internet.
