As most of you know, I love reading blogs. Like, seriously. Most of you may have seen the number of page views of your blogs increasing because... I check everyday. Like, the blogs of people that I know. I just love reading them for some particular reason. I'm sorry if you're creeped out and think that I'm such a stalker.
But a lot of you have this question in your mind: What to blog about? People like Wan Ting don't update often enough for me (HAHAHA) and whenever I ask why, she'll be like, "I have no idea what to blog about!" And sometimes I do get that feeling too. It's like you just want to update, but you don't have the slightest image on what to blog about. A lot of your lives are boring. At least, that's what Wan Ting said. So... Here's a 'guide' on what to blog about when you have no clue!
GUIDE ON WHAT TO BLOG ABOUT WHEN YOU HAVE NO CLUE written by Jolene in 20 minutes
Get inspiration. Sometimes I grab inspiration from blogs that I read (a good example would be In Her Head, which I got inspiration from Gwyneth), and sometimes it's from the books that I read be it paperback or Wattpad. It's like, the ideas just spring and suddenly it seems like you can write a thousand word essay on it! Okay that's probably an exaggeration, but you can write quite a fair bit.
Conversations. I get my ideas from daily conversations to be honest! The post, 'romantic' was from the conversation that I had with Wan Ting on the way to school and partly from Terence's comment on Gwyneth's blog.
Current affairs. Read the news! Talk about what's happening around the world! But only do that if your command of English is really, really good. No offence by the way. Because Terence is so damn good, I am envious and I don't exactly read the news so... No posts like those before.
Events that happened. Like common tests. Career week. Cca. Clique outing. ANYTHING! Sometimes it might spark off this little sparkler in you and you fingers just weave on the keyboard and there you go, a new blog post.
Movie reviews. Talk about the new movie that you have just caught in the cinema. Was it good? Plot? Effects? Actors (Man of the Week, Gwyneth)? It helps you for your school compositions when you're required to write one. Hahaha. Applies to book reviews as well.
Graphics. Share an emo picture that you have seen on Tumblr. Or some funny pictures that caught your eye on 9GAG. Spread the love, people! Or if you make graphics / design them, post it up! I would love to exchange ideas with you on those. Oh by the way Terence, more fonts please? :)
Random facts about you. Readers would loveeee to know more about you underneath! *cough cough* like yours truly *cough cough*
So I guess those are just a few starters for you guys if you are lost and unsure of what to blog about! Just keep it your style. To me, I feel that copying how others type their blog posts are just... Weird. It's your blog, dude (or dudette)! Keep it you, keep it natural.

Situated in the sunny island of Singapore, Jolene recently (is 2 years considered recent?) graduated from university and is now working in a job she never expected herself to hold. Besides having frequent quarter-life crises, she also indulges in video games, anime, and aesthetic korean girls documenting their life in vlogs.
Although not as eloquent with words, she still aims to try her best to bring across her thoughts to the Internet.
