Yes you read that right. This will be my last blog post until the end of O Levels. If you don't believe me, let me make an official announcement.
OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL MY READERS: I am going on a hiatus until the end of O Levels.
This wasn't an easy choice to make. Giving up blogging for so many months? It's like blocking a path of freedom. But it has to be done.
Blogging (or actually, using the computer) has been my main distraction for years. It actually hinders my progress a lot, and since this is the final year of my secondary school life, and the year that changes my life forever, I aim to do it right. So there can't be any distractions for me.
I only realised the severity of distractions today, which is a really sad thing (pardon my vocabulary). I was having math tuition when it dawned on (or is it upon? oh my god my english is horrendous) me that I have many things that I am clueless about. I have totally forgotten double angles and despite my tuition teacher giving me a pop quiz about it last week, it totally slipped my mind and all I could do tonight was to stare at the exact same pop quiz blankly. I need to start focusing on my studies (and by focus, I really mean 100%) if I really want my As.
And I am determined this time. I won't go back on my word and sneakily use the computer. This is a promise I have made to myself and typing it out in this post will help me to make my resolve stronger and myself more determined. I will aim to clear all my doubts this time round and get my results without regrets because I have done my best. No more procrastinating (refer to my previous post about procrastination). If I am deemed a no-life by my classmates, then so be it. They don't like me much anyway. I will work the hardest this year.
And with that, I shall end this post. All the best to my readers in their studies, and especially those who also have to sit the O Levels this year!
