What inspired me to make that image? The fact that I fell rather embarrassingly during dance yesterday. Cue the awkward face. I was doing my routine so smoothly but when I dances around the chair the floor became much more slippery and oomph! I fell with a loud bang.

._.

And I was quite shocked so I stood lying there by the chair looking blur. Then the pain shot up and I went, "ow ow ow ow ow" and tears started streaming down uncontrollably. Probably one of the most embarrassing moments of my life in Dance. So anyway, that fall earned me two large bruises- one on my knee and the other on my hip. Needless to say, that hurts (note the present tense) like ASDFGJKL. Hey you guys should try it sometime. Switch on your caps lock and just run your fingers on your keyboard. That felt good. Okay I'm drifting off topic.

I want to talk about Dance. How my journey in Dance Club was for me. In Secondary One, I joined Dance Club because I didn't expect it to be ballet and contemporary. I expected it to be hip hop. I thought I made the wrong choice. For the next three years, I had to learn all the ballet techniques from step one and start training on my flexibility. It still sucks, by the way. I managed to achieve my first split in Secondary Two on my left leg (surprise surprise) and eventually my right. However until now I have yet to master the front split *sad face*

Not long after, Deng Lao Shi left and Mr Dan came to join us. Everything changed. I got slimmer. Like, really really slim until the point of being so skinny that my ribs are seen when I lift my hands up. I'm proud to say that it's still like this even though I have been stuffing myself like a pig. Training practices got hardcore, and we had conditioning that trained and strengthened our core and back. Those are horrible practices but I've learnt to like it more compared to technique class. Technique class are classes whereby he will teach us some simple ballet techniques and we just have to follow suit according to him and the music. "Feel the music," Mr Dan always says and we close our eyes and feel the music. But double time is always fun even though I might not catch the movements sometimes hahaha.

I found myself getting more flexible but not to the point of satisfaction (because I keep missing my damn leg when I kick urgh). But hey, without Mr Dan I doubt I can get to where I am today.

My journey in Dance is not easy, and I am not even sure if I will continue to pursue Dance in JC. Yes, no, maybe so? I heard that life in JC is really tough and if Dance takes up my studying time... Nuh uh. I'm contemplating between Infocomm and Dance. It's hard to make up my mind. There's still another year to CCA choosing so I guess... Whatever.

Oh and the silhouette looks horrendous because I was trying to just draw one without any reference :P Hahaha yes yes it's so sucky but... Meh.
