I'm finally blogging after about a week or two because I have kicked my Maple addiction- or trying to, anyway. It's a desperate measure taken by yours truly to allow me a distraction-free mind while studying. But apparently I'm suffering major withdrawal symptoms. I went to the extent of googling "online maple story" and settled for a chinese rip-off that had everything in traditional chinese and a Balrog boss that is killed easily with an arrow and every kill earns you a level up by at least a 10.

And this is how I have been spending my entire night tonight, other than playing Neopets (again), Papa Louie (on Miniclip that I played when I was in Primary Two) and Club Penguin. Oh wait, don't count Club Penguin because I tried logging in but I forgot my user ID and password. I guess I should wave goodbye to all my spygear and puffles. *sobs*

To help me progress with my 'rehab', I went out with Lynn today for ice skating! *cheers* It's been at least half a year since I last touched the skates so it took me a while to adapt to the smooth ice rink that had tiny puddles of water at the sides. Being me, I didn't notice how late it was when I was playing Papa Louie so I turned up a little bit late than the prearranged timing. Oops. We went to eat at the food court of Kallang Leisure Park and shared Teriyaki Chicken because both of us were full... Full of awesomeness. Yeah.

We proceeded to make our way to the entrance of the ice skating rink but surprise surprise, we were only permitted to enter at 1.20pm (it was 12.40pm then) so we trudged down the stationary escalator and entered the bowling alley instead. To make things clear, both of us are not experienced bowlers. So as long as we hit one pin, we will cheer. And that's what we did and that's how we ended up with these pathetic scores.

But hey, at least I beat Lynn to her 57 with my 60. Cue the hoots and applause.

Ice skating was enjoyable because we did random waves on the rink and talked about dance a lot. I'm planning to join her after O's so... :) After the skating we went to SingPost (hahaha) to get our Mocha Frappes from McDonald's. That was pretty much the highlight of the day, to be honest. Oh yes, apart from our embarrassment at Stadium MRT that I will not disclose. Lynn if you're reading this I'm just going to stay that we should not have went to the glass. There were little races of Fun Run during our MRT train rides and we were either cursing at each other (amiacable cursing, of course) or gloating at each other because we won the race and were "waiting at the finishing line".

All in all, a really great day and I would love another :)
