recent updates
projects, school and social life
Tuesday, 14 March 2017

Hey guys! I can't believe that I didn't update anything during February - so sorry about that esp. my frequent readers - so I'm utilising the chance that I have right now to just give an update or two (seeing that this week is considered pretty slack, and hell week just passed).

Hell week was last week because I had so many assignments and reports due, not to mention a test scheduled so it was hectic. It made HO week feel like nothing, because last week I was honestly so immensely stressed and it felt like I was taking As all over again. I had a statistics test on Wednesday which I didn't start studying until... What, Monday? And as all of you guys know, math is definitely not my forte. I then had to submit a critical thinking assignment which was incredibly tough, a 300-word write up about ethics, as well as a resume and my marketing report... all by friday. It honestly felt like the world was going to end last week because I was just chased by all the deadlines and it was suffocating.

But hey, I work well under pressure right?

So I managed to finish them all and I have never felt this productive all year. Perhaps even including last year. When the week ended, I felt so liberated and satisfied with myself because of the amount of work that I've managed to complete! Procrastination at its finest, again.

Also despite it being hell week, I still managed to remain pretty social (???) because of the project work that I had to do with my marketing team. It was pretty eye-opening working with them because we were randomly assigned and we had to get to know each other while working on our project at the same time. Although there were times when there were disagreements, I'm grateful that we still managed to iron it out without much trouble and we got to know each other a lot more through the late nights (we ended at 6am for the first report meeting, and 4am the next). And since this is the week after the hell week, it's back to catching up with normal homework and socialising! I feel like I sound like such a social person here in Uni and I don't know if it's a good thing or not? Meeting people for meals and going out to study and stuff has been my norm since the start of the year, seeing that I've made a new year's resolution about meeting more people be it new or old. I guess my resolution has been working out extremely well, but I have to make sure to juggle this with my studies really well.

But yes, I'm going to grab some lunch with my friend later at South Spine, then have an amazing dinner with some of my hall friends (instant noodles party lmao)! Hope all of you guys have an amazing week and I'll blog again when I have inspiration or when I'm free :)
