This week had been rather eventful, at least for me. I have experienced so many things- hurt, anger, remorse, sadness, frustration, jolliness, nervousness... So many of them. I doubt that I am able to mention them all. Frankly speaking, I have no idea why I am describing my week to you. Maybe it's because I don't know what to blog about- for once in a really long time. Usually I just boot up Eliyssa (yes that's my chic laptop's name, for your information and damn, it suits her well) and I will just blog. Type whatever's on my mind and... Click publish. But today it's a little different. No particular incident this week is going "write me write me" in my head. Okay, maybe one. But I ranted about it in my private blog so I don't want to talk about it here hahaha. This week's just been such a blur, you know? Everyone's tired from the long break. Truly- the longer the break, the more tired you are. I can't say that it won't be the same this week, because it will most likely be.
Well but I guess a so-called lasting incident this week was SPA. Physics and Biology. Physics was great! I guess. I don't think I made any mistake there so all is well. But Biology was horrible. It was the first time in HISTORY that I felt so rushed and it was a SPA! Not even an exam paper. Just an experiment and I was totally sweating buckets there when I was measuring those bean sprouts. Ughhhh. Won't feel like eating them ever again. Anyway we had to measure 40 freaking bean sprouts and it takes about... What, a good 20 seconds to measure one because it was twisted and it was a challenge to manipulate that string. Not to mention you have to record your values too. I was happily measuring my bean sprouts when Mrs Tan went, "You have 20 minutes left." I went a little bit of "holy shit" and some of
Cue the dramatic music. I was in panic mode and just threw the bean sprouts away and put fake values for the remaining five. My handwriting was horrendous because I was scribbling and I just wrote whatever words that popped up in my head.
This was me.
Scribble, scribble, scribble. Read through instruction sheet to check if I missed out any questions. More scribbling and cancelling. Check graph values. Put pencil down. "Pens down."
Seriously, heng ah.
I never imagined SPA to be that tough until that day. It's like it went full on
Jeeeeez. And this unexpectedly transformed into a meme post HAHAHA. Well...

Jeeeeez. And this unexpectedly transformed into a meme post HAHAHA. Well...
Situated in the sunny island of Singapore, Jolene recently (is 2 years considered recent?) graduated from university and is now working in a job she never expected herself to hold. Besides having frequent quarter-life crises, she also indulges in video games, anime, and aesthetic korean girls documenting their life in vlogs.
Although not as eloquent with words, she still aims to try her best to bring across her thoughts to the Internet.
